Returns and Refunds Policy
Do You Accept Returns?
Yes, we accept returns within 30 days of you receiving your order, as confirmed by the tracking number. Please note the following conditions:
- Unused Items Only: We only accept returns for items that are unused and in their original packaging due to hygiene reasons. If the items show signs of use, we will not issue a refund.
How to Return an Item
Step 1: Contact us at help@beardandbones.co.uk to inform us of your return.
Step 2: Include your order number (found on your email confirmation) and the reason for the return. Please confirm that the items are unused.
Step 3: Ship the items back to us at your own expense. We recommend using a tracked service, especially for high-value items, as we are not liable for items lost or damaged in transit. If the items are lost or damaged during shipping, you will need to file a claim with the courier.
Step 4: Ensure all items are securely packed and include a note with your order number and name.

Refund Processing
- Timeframe: Refunds are issued for returns received within 30 days of delivery. Items received after this period will not be refunded.
- Inspection: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund yet:
- Check Your Bank Account: Sometimes refunds take time to post.
- Contact Your Credit Card Company: It may take some time before the refund is officially posted.
- Contact Your Bank: Processing times can vary.

Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges or swaps. If you wish to get a different item:
- Return the Unwanted Item: Follow the return process for the unused item.
- Place a New Order: Purchase the desired item separately.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged:
- Email us at help@beardandbones.co.uk with your order number and images of the damage.
- We will provide a replacement for the damaged items or issue a refund for the affected items only.
Lost Items
Scenario 1: Tracking Shows Delivered, But You Haven't Received Your Order
- Check with Household Members: Someone else may have accepted the delivery.
- Check with Neighbors: It might have been left with a neighbor.
- Check Safe Places: Look in any designated safe places around your property.
- Contact Us: If you've checked all the above and still can't locate your order, email us at help@beardandbones.co.uk with your order number. We will investigate with Royal Mail.
Scenario 2: Order Hasn't Arrived Within the Estimated Delivery Time
- Due to high demand and reduced staff, deliveries may take longer.
- Royal Mail considers an item lost after 10 working days past the expected delivery date (excluding Sundays).
- If your order hasn't arrived after this period, please contact us.
Free Returns
- We do not offer free returns. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Refund Details
- Full Refunds: You will receive a full refund for the returned items, excluding the original shipping costs.
- Inspection Required: Items must be in original packaging and unused. We will inspect items upon arrival.

Legal Compliance
Our return policy aligns with UK Law:
- Consumer Rights Act 2015: We will replace any faulty or broken products or offer a partial/full refund upon receiving photo evidence of the issue.

Gifts
- If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
- If the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, the refund will be sent to them, and they will be notified of your return.
Shipping Costs
- Non-Refundable: Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Return Shipping Costs: If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund (if applicable).
